Civil wedding in Cyprus

We will answer the most frequently asked.

- Will marriage concluded in Cyprus be legal in my country?
- Yes, marriage concluded in Cyprus is legal in most countries of the world, including Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Israel, England, Lebanon.

- What do you need for an official wedding in Cyprus?
- Everything is very simple.

We select and reserve the desired date and location for the wedding.
You collect the documents necessary for the wedding and send scans to us. We send them for verification to the municipality, it will take 1-2 business days.
1-2 days before the wedding date, fly to Cyprus and we will go to the municipality to submit the original documents.
There should also be 2 witnesses at the ceremony. it may be one of your guests. If there are no guests, we will provide our 2 witnesses.
Officially sign in Cyprus.

- In what language is the official ceremony?
- The official registrar conducts the ceremony in English. Our host translates into Russian, if necessary.

- How quickly can I get a marriage certificate?

- On the wedding day, at the end of the ceremony, a municipality representative will issue you a marriage certificate.
The next business day, we apostilize the marriage certificate and give it to you.

Для того, чтобы официально пожениться на Кипре, в большинстве случаев необходимо всего 3 документа:

Загранпаспорт.

Срок действия загранпаспорта должен быть не менее 6 месяцев.

Справка о семейном положении.

Это документ, подтверждающий, что Вы не состоите в браке.

Справку можно получить в Загсе, либо в нотариальной конторе.

Справку нужно брать не ранее, чем за 3 месяца до даты свадьбы.

Если Вы ранее не состояли в браке, то справка должна быть за период с момента исполнения 18 лет по день выдачи справки.

Если-же ранее состояли в браке, то с момента развода по настоящее время.

Справку нужно перевести на английский язык и заверить нотариально. Обычно это всё делается в одном месте, в нотариальной конторе.

Если Вы из Украины, или Беларуси, то нотариус также должен поставить на справку апостиль.

Для граждан России апостиль не требуется.

Свидетельство о рождении.

Свидетельство также переводите на английский и заверяете у нотариуса.

Если Вы из Украины, или Беларуси, нотариус должен поставить апостиль, если из России, апостиль не нужен.

Какие еще документы могут потребоваться?

Свидетельство о разводе- для тех, кто ранее состоял в браке.

Свидетельство о смерти- для вдовцов/вдов.

Свидетельство нужно перевести на английски и заверить нотариально. Поставить апостиль, если гражданин Украины, или Беларуси.

Загранпаспорта 2 свидетелей.

Нужно отсканировать первую страницу загранпаспорта.

По закону, во время официальной церемонии на Кипре, необходимо присутствие 2 свидетелей, ими может быть кто-то из гостей.

Если-же Вы будете только вдвоём, то мы с удовольствием станем Вашими свидетелями на свадьбе.

Документы для граждан Израиля.

1. Загранпаспорт.

2. Справка о семейном положении- получить её можно в отделении МВД по месту жительства.

В справке должны быть указаны имена родителей.

3. Свидетельство о разводе- если ранее состояли в браке.

4. Свидетельство о смерти- для вдовцов/вдов.

Все документы нужно перевести на английский язык, заверить нотариально и апостилировать.

Documents for citizens of Israel.

1. Passport.
2. Certificate of marital status - you can get it at the department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs at the place of residence.
The certificate must contain the names of the parents.
3. Certificate of divorce - if previously married.
4. Death certificate - for widowers / widows.

All documents must be translated into English, notarized and apostilled.
